It is quite a book, with elements of romance, horror, and excitement. There is certainly a lot of commentary that can be written about it. Battles that are fought between good and evil. And the exploration of human condition. What is ugly? What is beautiful? Is a person who is beautiful on the outside but a jerk on the inside a good person? If inside a person is an angel even though to the outside observer he is a hunchback, what kind of person is he? If a person is an archdeacon, does that make him virtuous? If someone is a scholar of literary works and philosophy, does this person act out on the literary explorations of his work? These are all worthy questions that will be answered in my next blog.
